Pool Filter Maintenance & Cleaning in Brevard County, FL

Visual Equipment Inspection

On each visit, our technicians perform a visual check of your filter and equipment area — looking for leaks, unusual sounds, or anything that seems off. We are not opening the filter housing every visit, but we keep an eye out so problems don't go unnoticed between deeper cleanings.

• Visual inspection of filter housing and connections
• Leak check around plumbing and equipment pad
• Flow rate and pressure gauge review
• Backwash valve condition check (sand filters)
• Air bleeder and sight glass inspection

Filter Cleaning Schedule

We open and clean cartridge filters once per month — removing the cartridge and rinsing it out thoroughly. Sand filters are backwashed as needed depending on debris load. DE filters receive a full teardown and recharge periodically per manufacturer recommendations. This structured approach keeps your filtration effective without unnecessary over-servicing.

Filtration and Water Clarity

A filter operating at full efficiency can turn over your entire pool volume multiple times per day, removing particles as fine as 20–100 microns depending on type. When your filter is dirty or clogged, it can't remove these fine particles — resulting in cloudy water, irritated swimmers, and a hospitable environment for algae and bacteria. Keeping your filter clean is directly linked to water clarity and safety.
